Child Labour Elimination
No child should have to sacrifice their future to earn a livelihood. Economic hardships often force children into hazardous or exploitative labor, stripping them of their right to education and growth. Green Tara Foundation works directly on the ground to identify, rescue, and rehabilitate children trapped in caste-based occupations or forced labor, opening up pathways back to a normal childhood.
Our Key Focus Areas
- Rescue & Transition: Conducting ground-level tracking to identify at-risk children and successfully transitioning them out of work environments.
- Mainstream Education Rehabilitation: Helping rescued child laborers catch up academically and seamlessly enrolling them into formal government schools.
- Family Support & Tracking: Working closely with families to address root economic issues, preventing children from returning to work.
