Educating a girl changes the trajectory of an entire family and community. Unfortunately, gender-based discrimination and financial constraints often force young girls out of the school system early. Since 2010, Green Tara Foundation has been working extensively to bridge this gender gap in education, ensuring that adolescent girls receive the academic support, safety, and resources needed to complete their formal schooling.
